If it helps, the Spinfisher VI 3500 is essentially the same size as a Shimano 4000, and the 4500 is a little bit bigger and sits really nicely on a more powerful 9’6’’ or 10’ lure rod (note that because Daiwa have decided to change their spinning reel sizes again with their new LT reels I simply can’t be bothered trying to make sense of their stuff)
