Henri Boillot, Meursault Charmes other_regions the stems seem to have
Yard notes & kiln story
Description
the stems seem to have surrendered more here
youthfully austere and bone-dry finish is textbook Perrières and while it could use a bit more overall depth
with a dry end
Wrapped up with notions of lemon pith and a fine dusty minerality
cedar and dark fruit on the nose are echoed on the palate of this full-bodied
Henri Boillot, Meursault Charmes other_regions the stems seem to have(from vines in Charmes Dessus). A background trace of wood highlights very ripe orchard fruit aromas and a hint of lemon rind that complement the rich, full and sweet flavors that possess buckets of dry extract, indeed so much so that this has an almost tannic quality to the racy and linear finish. The finish is quite dry yet there is an underlying sweetness here that gives a seductive and silky quality to the mid palate. 92 2008+
