The band was originally formed in Buffalo, NY but has since relocated to Tampa, FL. They have been constantly controversial throughout their entire career. In 1990, they released their debut album Eaten Back To Life on Metal Blade. The record cemented their sound and their image and started off their infamy. Due to the graphic nature of the art and the lyrics, it was banned in several countries.
