Joseph Drouhin, Vosne Romanee other_regions_italy Firm reduction dominates the fruit(from several lieux dits including ~20% from the 1er Les Chaumes). An exuberantly spicy nose features ripe aromas of dark cherry liqueur, sandalwood and exotic jasmine tea. The medium bodied flavors are not quite as dense though they are, as one would reasonably expect, more refined with even better depth and persistence on the well balanced if youthfully austere finale. Lovely juice and especially so for its level.
