Iris unguicularis Francis Wolseley Impatiens both to humans as wellThis splendid selection of winter flowering iris comes from our friend John Elsley, who got this from plantswoman extraordinaire Beth Chatto, who reportedly got it from Francis Wolseley's UK garden. In our trials, Iris unguicularis 'Francis Wolseley' has been a vigorous grower, topped from fall through March (NC) with an abundance of medium lavender flowers, each highlighted by a central tuxedo pattern of white with small purple flecks and a central
