My best guess is that it dates to the 1980s or 90s - it belonged to a very wealthy philanthropist and socialite who was politically connected and was acquired from his estate

This is a very nice quality 1980s era Guy Laroche sweater made in a pullover style

He apprenticed & worked with Jacques Fath in the 50s up until Fath's death in November of 1954

They came with a lot of gloves that I recently acquired, most unused and all dating to the 1950s and 60s. They are in like new condition, as they are still connected with their original string and have been well stored. The interiors of the gloves are stamped 6 1 2 Made in France Real Kid and WPL 9111 100% Pure Silk. The WPL numbers pre dated RN textile
