Ligularia japonica 'Chinese Dragon' has made an outstanding clump in our garden, composed of bold textured, cutleaf leaves (less serrated than the Japanese form). The cold resistant foliage emerges for us in mid February, during hellebore season, oblivious to two more months of cold temperatures.
