and although I still bought a financially irresponsible amount of wine

It’s unquestionably a big wine

It's one of the most approachable Pinots in the lineup

The palate is wonderfully complex and moreish

Very sweet, dense and full, with a glyceral texture and superripe, concentrated, sappy flavors of black raspberry and cherry liqueur. Pliant and approachable but with attractive framing acidity and solid spine. Finishes with fine, dusty tannins and excellent persistence; superripe notes of crystallized berries along with a hint of minty austerity. Stephen
