Good definition here and nicely focused

The barely middleweight flavors are also on the lighter side but with better punch and notably better depth on the lingering and slightly more structured finale

A more intensely floral-suffused nose reflects an interesting note of pepper on the pretty red currant

Yvon Metras, Fleurie Size:6x1.5L This medium to full-bodiedOne's milage can vary significantly when aging Yvon Mtras' wines, but from my cellar, the 2017 Fleurie is performing quite well, even if I preferred it a few years ago. Exhibiting aromas of rose petals, cherry pits, smoked meats and spices, it's medium to full bodied, sweet and fleshy, with powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish and a touch of spritzy residual carbon dioxide.
