Its main function is to secure the operator during helicopter hoist operations. SALY is connected to the operator's harness with an Autoblock carabiner (3 movements) and to the helicopter ceiling (safety point) with a TANGO 360 high visibility aluminum Double Gate carabiner safety system. The aluminum swivel allows the lanyard to rotate as the operator moves throughout the cabin, avoiding twists in the
